You shall avoid any conflict between your individual interests (personal or business) and the interests of MedGlobal (“conflict of interest”). A conflict of interest can exist even if no unethical or unacceptable act results from it. If you, or a member of your family, have a possible conflict – or even the appearance of a conflict – with MedGlobal interests, you must fully disclose the circumstances to HR department. For the purposes of this policy, your family includes: a spouse, brother or sister, parent, child or domestic partner. Actual conflicts of interest or serious or repeated perceived conflicts of interest may result in appropriate action up to and including termination of employment/contract. If appropriate or necessary, an impartial person or committee may be appointed to review a situation involving conflicts of interest.
