Job Title: Registration Clerk

Job location: Palestine, Gaza (On-site)

Reports to: Project Officer

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Registration Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data related to the health and nutrition emergency relief response in Gaza. This includes collecting, processing, maintaining data records, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the project team with data-related tasks. The Data Entry Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that accurate data is available for decision-making and reporting.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately enter data from various sources into databases and systems.
  • Verify and correct data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update data records regularly.
  • Generate reports and summaries based on the data.
  • Assist in the collection and organization of data from field activities.
  • Collaborate with project staff to ensure data needs are met.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and security according to organizational policies.
  • Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or issues.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Should have the following skills, education, and experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Data Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or data management, preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Arabic; knowledge of English is an advantage.
  • Commitment to MedGlobal’s mission and values.
  • Knowledge of data management practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to engage in fieldwork and support data collection activities.
