Job Title: Field Distributer
Job location: Palestine, Gaza (On-site)
Reports to: Project Officer
JOB SUMMARY
The Field Distributor will be responsible for implementing the distribution of humanitarian aid, supplies, or products to designated beneficiaries in the field. This role requires coordination with warehouse teams, local stakeholders, and recipients to ensure efficient, transparent, and organized distribution processes. The Field Distributor will maintain accurate records, report on distribution of progress, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct field distributions of assigned supplies/products following established protocols.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to receive and transport supplies to distribution sites.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of distributed items.
- Engage with local stakeholders and beneficiaries to facilitate smooth distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, especially regarding fairness, transparency, and security.
- Provide feedback to management on field challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in resolving distribution-related conflicts or issues that may arise on-site.
- Uphold safety standards and adhere to ethical guidelines, including child protection policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or field operations, preferably in a humanitarian or non-profit setting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in challenging field environments and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic reporting tools.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ethical distribution practices.
- Commitment to the organization’s values and humanitarian mission.
